In search of Eric

It all started with a text Friday "Morecambe & back Sunday , up 4 it" there's only one guy could of sent it. I ignored it then another one "Theres a nice caf @ the end of the stone jetti , fish n chips if its shut ! A pic with ERIC then home ."
So Sunday morning comes around St Anne's 9.00am on a warm overcast day well warmer than it has been.
Not a bad turn out Monkey, Chris Wade, Ben Cook, Keith, Sid and Lloyd, but who would make it?
Bradford to Morecambe is about 64miles which makes it 128miles round trip.
The first casualties were Keith & Sid who just "disappeared in Rathmal"
Then Monkey, Chris ,Lloyd and Ben stopped at Wray Cafe (20miles from Eric) the lure of coffee and cake got the better of them.
This just left Richard Harrison!...... any normal person would of just join them under protest.........................but no not Richard he pressed on making Morecambe in good time having his picture taken With Eric grabbing a bite to eat then set off back on his own.
but upon reaching Skipton he caught Monkey, Chris and Lloyd.
Well Done Richard on a true epic ride.

Service-course.com/
There was a realisation in early 2009 that there was a thirst for top qualitykit from the cycling community worldwide in that old, yet still very functional team kit was being snapped up by cyclists the world over.
Hence, on very wet Tuesday night in South Wales service-course.com was born.
Theinitial aim is to give cyclists the opportunity to purchase genuineteam issue kit, not the replicas sold in the shops but the stuff thatthe guys wear on the professional circuit.
The proceeds from thekit sales will go to supporting Maggys passion of cycling developmentfor talented young riders. for the past few years we have supported Freddy Johansson and this will continue into 2009. http://www.service-course.com/
Coffee
Coffee is a passion of mine as it is of all pro bike riders. MAGNUS MAXIMUS is the result of many hours of research drinking coffee and eating cakes (Not too many and only in the off season).
I have lucky enough to have been a professional rider for now 13 years. Passing on the wisdom of what I h
ave learned and how I have gone about my professional career is something I am extremely committed to.
All of the proceeds from this coffee go towards helping young riders. Our coffee foundation now directly funds our continental professional Team Cyclesport.se We aim to bring the highest level of support and management to the entry level of the professional ranks. We can now provide a motivating, secure platform to allow riders from Sweden, the UK and USA to turn professional and reach the highest level in the sport.
