Stew Coates Sir, I must take issue with your cafe racing results. While went swanning off to Majorca on the 14th it was I who outsprinted Mick Day to take 3rd place. ps. Where is my rider profile?

Stew Coates Yea it's those results I'm on about - Not sure how Dudley got in there cos he wasn't between us & Tom Moses when it came down to the sprint. I want a stewards enquiry.

Road Rash and Cycling Crash Kit

There is a category added called Road Rash/Crashes. This category is dedicated to road rash, cycling crashes, or anything that goes wrong when it is just you and the bike.

Email us your best pictures and stories of asphalt pounding failure on two wheels. If we use your story on Ride-Strong.com, for your pain we will send you a FREE t-shirt.

Email us at: info @ ride-strong dot com.

Pictured above is the basic road rash kit to heal your wounds.

  1. Beer to slam before washing out your wounds
  2. Vemma to drink to fight free radicals and inflammation
  3. Wound Wash Saline to remove bacteria and debris
  4. Gauze pads to clean up the mess
  5. Neosporin + pain relief to stop infection
  6. Dressing sponges to cover up the mess
  7. Ibuprofen to stop the pain
  8. M&M’s to eat as you lick your wounds on the couch while watching TV

The story below needed more than a road rash kit.

Richard Harrison 6th at Bolton by Bowland

Richard Harrison went 2 better than
Giles to Finish 6th in the 11mile spoco time trail held over in Lancashire on the (L112) Bolton by Bowland/Wigglesworth course.
heres a picture of Richard with his time trial head on looks a bit wonky to me....

Giles 8th at clayton Velo

The ever so likable Giles Pidcock finished 8th in the local road season opener Clayton Velo Spring Classic Which was won by National Road race Champion some guy called Rob.

Giles sporting his new team kit and Vinner bike 9which he has blagged of some poor gullible southern cycle shop) is now set to beat last year result in this weekend Eddie Soens race at Anitree Race coarse Liverpool.
Well at least he wont be out
caferacing this weekend
.

Sunday 1 March 2009

Cafe Racing starts next Saturday.

In one week time it all starts again.

But who will lift the CafeRacing trophy.

Richard Harrison? hes shown his Early season form with a 6th place in the Bolton By Bowland Time trail.

Murgy? Has been put in the miles in and has been dishing it out on the Buckden runs

Shack? outside must have an outside chance he been going well on the Buckden runs.

Giles? He still has his sprint and has shown his form we a 8th place at Clayton Velo Spring Classic.

Mick Day? Hasn't missed a beat this winter and is a canny rider.

Sid? Who knows what Sid is thinking he could win it hands down if he put his mind to it

Dan Fox? the dark horse

Ever year the competition moves up a notch . and this years going to be a tough one good luck to all.

Sorry if I have missed you off the list, i just cant be bothered to write any More.
